WE SUPPORT AN EQUITABLE WAGE

As a customer at Folk, you are supporting a sustainable approach to fair wage structure for all.  

To ensure an equitable distribution of wages to all staff we include a customary 18% hospitality charge to all bills. 

What does this mean exactly?  

It means that when you dine at Folk, tips are not expected. However, by accepting the hospitality charge you are supporting a living wage—for all staff, everyday and at all times. We pride ourselves on employing a team of highly skilled individuals who are knowledgeable in their craft and provide excellent customer service.  

If you believe your server has exceeded your expectations—great! Servers respectfully accept cash gratuity only. 

CONTEST RULES

Visit Folk in person, spend a minimum of $5, submit your business card to your server (or the host), and be entered to win a free Sister Pie cookbook signed by author Lisa Ludwinski. Only one entry allowed per person.

Contest runs from 11/5/18 thru 12/16/18.  Only one (1) winner will be chosen.  The winner will be contacted at the email address used to enter the contest, and the person receiving and replying to the winner announcement email will be considered the winner unless they specify another person within the reply email as the winner.

Folk agrees to mail the contest prize to the address provided by the recipient of the winner announcement email.   Please note: your business card remains the sole property of Folk, and your information will remain confidential.  Folk agrees not to share it with any other person or business not affiliated with Folk and its parent company The Farmer’s Hand LLC.
